Jayden and how he handles life

Jayden is quite interesting on how he handles being sick. Many parents would agree with me that children handle illness a lot better than adults. Jayden tries not to let it affect him at all.

Jayden was sick last week and they only way you would know is his appetite. When Jayden is feeling well he can eat like an adult. But when he is not feeling well he starts to get real picky and refuses to eat. He still runs hard and plays harder. He will cry a bit more, but Jayden's tears last maybe 2 minutes before he is off to his next adventure.

He got his school pictures last week and he looked very snazzy. But the size 3 jeans are already too tight on him. It looks painful for him to keep them on. But he did not complain. Now will see if he smiled in the pictures...

Jayden has also been loving what is called the "tumble bus" where the kids are allowed to roll and bounce and jump inside a converted school bus. He loves the action and wants to do it all the time. He also loves when Grandma Lee picks him up from school not his parents. He is set in his ways.

Last weekend Jayden and I had a boys weekend. It was a lot of fun and Jayden and I had a great time. We went to the park and went and played on the toys at Carl's Jr. Dawson and Jayden rode quads and then went to dinner with Jonah, Madeline, Dawson, Boyd and Grandpa. We had a great time and I know that Jayden enjoyed being the center of attention with me. He does not need a lot of attention nor does he crave it, but when he does and I am able to give him 100% of my attention. It feels good.

Jayden is also starting to be possessive with toys and such and we are having a talk about that. I have told him at our house all the toys are Mine and I share with him. I am hoping he will believe this for a few more months.,,
